                                   October 1, 2024-May, 30 2025 (Tuesdays & Thursdays) [3:30pm-6:30pm]

Program Begins: July 1 -August 1, 2024 (Mondays-Thursdays) [3:00pm-6:00pm]

NBC Mentorship Programs Requirements: 

• For youth 14-24 years old
• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible
• Must be apart of the DJS Career Center (if applicable)
• Complete YouthWorks Application (Ages 14-21 ONLY)
• All mentors will be assigned to a Senior Mentor Coach
• NBC Program Participation Waiver + Registration

Mentorship Details: 

• Community service hours/paid opportunities for youth ages 14-24
• Monthly educational & professional development workshops to hone trade and life skills
• Entrepreneurial opportunities
• Some programs reward certifications/college credits
• Two college visits to schools with student’s trade/career of interest
• Potential to earn up to $1,000 in college scholarships
• All programs tailored by enrichment professionals to mentor youth with proper coaching through their program pathway.
• 12-month career or college plan
• Mental Wellness Workshops

All Program Incentives: 

• Accredited Professionals/Mentor/Coach
• Uniforms
• Equipment & Materials
• Program Schedule
• Referee or Travel Fees (if applicable)
• Meals, Snacks & Food Shopping
• NBC Ceremony

Details on each program will be sent via email with the Course(s) information, training(s)-if applicable-, location, point of contact, date & time. Participants will receieve syllabus and mentor agreement to ensure they uphold mentorship duties and responsbilities to remain eligible for the NBC Mentorship Program Hub.
