NBC Mentorship Programs Requirements:

For youth 14-24 years old
Must maintain a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible
Must be apart of the DJS Career Center (if applicable)
Complete YouthWorks Application (Ages 14-21 ONLY)
All mentors will be assigned to a Senior Mentor Coach
NBC Program Participation Waiver + Registration

Mentorship Details:

Community service hours/paid opportunities for youth ages 14-24
Monthly educational & professional development workshops to hone trade and life skills
Entrepreneurial opportunities
Some programs reward certifications/college credits
Two college visits to schools with student’s trade/career of interest
Potential to earn up to $1,000 in college scholarships
All programs tailored by enrichment professionals to mentor youth with proper coaching through their program pathway.
12-month career or college plan
Mental Wellness Workshops

Details on each program will be sent via email with the Course(s) information, training(s)-if applicable-, location, point of contact, date & time. Participants will receieve syllabus and mentor agreement to ensure they uphold mentorship duties and responsbilities to remain eligible for the NBC Mentorship Program Hub.
